School Picture Day the Free Way

Since we have basically zero income, there was no possibility I would be able to justify spending anything on scool pics this year. Spring pictures are sent home to preview before purchase (I scan them into my computer ans send them back to school) but fall pics have to be preordered. So this year I just took pics of the girls before school dressed all nice.

She looks sooo small in her crib!

My girls really like using my camera.....

Park Fun

Poor Paisley is just too small for her carrier. David took pity and let her out. =)

She really is such a sweet little thing
Haha! Her pooping face!
Last night after dinner we went for a walk to a park in our neighborhood. It was somewhat hot, but the kids had lots of fun.

Same Ol', Same Ol', But More Cute Pics

Still not much new going on here. I started back up to work with UHaul here at home. I only work 2 1/2 hours/day right now though. It wouldn't be so bad but with David unemployed, I'm not sure how we're going to make ends meet. We've been praying pretty hard for a miracle around here. David is going to Vegas tomorrow to test with their police department. Hopefully he'll pass everything with flying colors and they'll find a way to expidite the highering process. Anyways, here's the cute pics.....Amber made a small fort for her's and Jade's dolls.
David and I are fasting today, so I told the girls to get their own dinners.

Hmmmm....

So....I'm not sure this whole "brain loss while pregnant" thing only applies during pregnancy. Maybe for a few months afterwards as well? I've been looking for a cardboard box with a half pieced quilt in it all week. I've seriously looked EVERYWHERE!!! I finally conviced David to go up and check in the attic for me about 1/2 hour ago. Not up there. So he's looking around the house and the whole time I'm telling him I've already looked everywhere and it's not anywhere in the house and I have no idea what could have happened to it cause I know for a fact it made it here from Hawaii cause I've seen it but I just don't remember where it is. Yeah.....he comes into Paisley's room while I'm putting her to bed and throws a box on the floor. It's my quilt box. It was under my bed. And yes. I did look there. About 100 times. When will my brain come back???

Not Much Going On

It's been a very quiet week so far. The girls have enjoyed school, Paisley has continued to be a cutie, and I've slowly been getting the house back in order. David's no longer in the Air Force so he's home all day with Paisley and I. He has a test date with the Las Vegas police dept on Sept 1 and the Sierra Vista police dept on Sept 8. Hopefully he'll be able to get picked up shortly. In the meantime, my meager UHaul income is all we've got right now. I officially start back on the 25th. I'm bummed, but at least it's at home. They're only giving me 2 1/2 hours per day right now so I can get adjusted and don't get burnt out. Paisley still does really well at night. She continues to only wake once around midnight and that's it. Such a good baby. She's also been awake more throughout the day. Her muscle control is still pretty spastic and she has a tendancy to freak herself out with her long flappy arms. It's pretty funny. I love it. Paisley loves to pick up her head and look around the room or just stare at whoever is holding her. Such a sweetie! Amber had a friend over yesterday. She, Jade, and her friend had a lot of fun playing and the girls had no problems cleaning up their room afterwards. For once..... That's all we've been doing so far. I have a quilt that's about half finished, but I can't find it anywhere. I think it might be up in the attic (not really sure why though....) and I have yet to convince David to get it for me. Please, Dave? Please???Hahaha! Paisley roots a lot even when she's not hungry. I think it's cute.

I got her a few pairs of "babylegs". I freakin LOVE them!!! They crack me up. =)

Amber and her friend. They didn't fight a single time while she was here! Hooray!

I Miss Her Already!!!

As you know, my mom and Kevin came for the weekend. Friday was a c-r-azy day! Paisley had her 2 week checkup and David finished outprocessing from the Air Force. He's officially done. Little Miss weighed in at 7lbs even and 21in. How in the world does a little thing grow a whole inch in 2 weeks? We all celebrated David's 31st birthday on Friday; wow he's old. All he wanted was to eat Lila's lasagna she made for us and a dumb plain ole chocolate cake...boring.
Saturday was equally busy. David went off to help Zach and Tai pack up the Uhaul for their move to Vegas. :( I already miss you Tai. While he went to do that, the girls, Mom, Kevin and I went to see my sister Shelley in Yuma. We went to my favorite breakfast eatery, IHOP. I love their pancakes. I tried their new passion fruit strawberry pancakes. They's to DIE for!!! Seriously! After that we went to her house and had some homemade ice cream. It was fun, but the girls and I missed David. From there, we all left to my Aunt Roma's house for swimming and chow-mein. It was delicious. It was great to finally show off baby Paisley to my Aunt Roma and my cousins, and to see Brandon again. She was really good the entire day and during each trip. I love her wonderful temperment.
Shelley stayed the night but had to leave eary Sunday morning. After church we took Mom and Kev out to look at some really HUGE luxury homes in Litchfield Park. Needless to say, they were impressed. It was so nice to see Mom and Kevin again. It's been a few years and the girls have really missed them. Hopefully we'll be able to make it out to Virginia for Christmas. I LOVE YOU, MOM!!!!

Another Week Almost Done With

I know it's only Thursday, but I thought I'd better post something before my mom and step-dad come for the weekend cause that will be it's own post. So here's to week 2 with baby Paisley and school.....My sister Shelley and her kiddo Celeste came and stayed with us last week Wednesday through Sunday. It was really nice to have them here. This is the girls playing in our $10 pool having a blast. It was a good investment....

I came into the room and found this...... WHY is Paisley sucking on Jade's finger??? Oh yeah...the three of them decided Paisley was hungry and Jade had the tastiest finger. Hahahaha!

Babies make the funniest faces......
This is what happens when I put Paisley in her chair and leave the room. She looks happy. =)
Can't wait for TOMORROW!!! It's not only David's birthday, but my mom and step-dad are coming to town to meet Little Miss P. Hooray!
